@studioyoongi you can keep sending that screenshot but you’re wrong. IFAB’s rule changes allow the review to be conducted, and IFAB rules state that simulation is a yellow card offence. Sorry but you’re wrong
@studioyoongi also this screenshot is lying when it claims these incidents can’t be reviewed. this is a screenshot from the recent law changes published by IFAB. It clearly states that it CAN be reviewed in the context of mistaken identity (which the Paredes-Embolo incident was reviewed under)
@studioyoongi you’re proving my point. Paredes was incorrectly booked and according to IFAB rules, it should be overturned. Your screenshot says “mistaken identity does not APPEAR to cover an opposing player being incorrectly booked” this quote is not IFAB. It is journalistic commentary.
@studioyoongi it’s actually not citing IFAB. the term in your screenshot says “it appears”, which suggests that this is the writers expressing their opinion. I have shown you a direct screenshot from the football lawmakers website and you are still choosing to argue with me.
@TouchmineX IFAB is the governing body behind FIFA refereeing. In this case, the wrong player (Paredes) was cautioned and therefore according to IFAB laws, the correct decision is to overturn this under the mistaken identity rule, and send off Embolo.
@Utkarsh070302@basedsami@MadridPreeti exactly my point. Stupid dive because it’s a useless position. It’s a clear dive, and deservedly, Embolo receives a second yellow card (as the rule book states he should)
@Utkarsh070302@basedsami@MadridPreeti or you could watch the game and see that he goes down because he is trying to get a free kick. use you eyes instead of creating a fantasy about a muscle strain you have no evidence of
@Utkarsh070302@basedsami@MadridPreeti this is such cope lmfao. Embolo gets up fine after the “foul”. he walks off the field no assistance. not common from an injured player
@Kumar_Vij2024@BTenzy@MadridPreeti lol that’s a second yellow card every day of the week. not even an argentina glazer, but what on earth was Embolo thinking going down like that whilst on a yellow card? Absolute brain fade
@reyyyy888k@moula504@MadridPreeti and that’s poor refereeing and should have been overturned with a yellow card. can’t deny that embolo shouldn’t have been sent off though. what on earth was he thinking
@currermell@JeffersonsHate@EdGrapeNutZimm@RepSwalwell The homicide drop since the 1990s happened across many countries including those without expanded civilian carry. There’s no solid evidence permissive carry caused it. Vetting and registration saves lives.
@currermell@JeffersonsHate@EdGrapeNutZimm@RepSwalwell Australian gun control was never about banning guns though. it added a thorough vetting process to get them and Australians now require licenses to own them. it also prohibits high risk weapons like semi automatic rifles. that’s a nearly 50% reduction in gun deaths. pretty big.
@JeffersonsHate@EdGrapeNutZimm@RepSwalwell Thank you for proving my point. More guns than people is absolutely ridiculous. Mass shootings are an every day occurrence for the US. As long as your rights aren’t violated it’s okay for 10s of thousands to die each year. Such a self entitled argument.
@JeffersonsHate@EdGrapeNutZimm@RepSwalwell according to the cdc in 2023 there were 46000 gun deaths in the US with 38% of those being homicides. that’s not a minuscule amount. that’s over 17,000 families who lost a son, daughter, mother, or father in 2023 ALONE. why should gun deaths be necessary for this?
@VoteLewko “gun laws don’t work because we’ve had 2 large massacres in 30 years” clearly gun control does work. the US has over 10x the gun deaths per 100,000 people. don’t push this narrative. more guns ≠ safer country.
@JeffersonsHate@EdGrapeNutZimm@RepSwalwell Australia (Gun control): 0.9 gun deaths per 100,000 people
The US (No gun control) 12.09 deaths per 100,000 people
but yes let’s give every civilian guns👍. works really well
