Getting some fast food, finding a good place to park, and enjoying some peace and quiet while you leisurely chow down is one of life’s most underrated adult pleasures.
James Hetfield's response to this question is brilliant.
Being and staying grateful for what you have is what makes you feel comfortable in all parts of your life.
'Classic' guitarist 'Fast' Eddie Clark was only in Motörhead 5 years.
Brian Robertson just 1 year.
Würzel a little over a decade.
Yet for over 3 decades, from 1984 to 2015, it was Phil Campbell's guitar that defined Motörhead.
Resulting in their musically strongest albums, from From the Thrash Metal assault of "Sacrifice" to 2004 masterpiece "Inferno".
Pay tribute to an unfairly overlooked legend by blasting a modern Motörhead record.
Phil "Wizzö" Campbell

One of the best early 80s games ever is Choplifter, from 1982, developed by Dan Gorlin and published by Broderbund. It also became one of the best selling games ever for the Apple II.
I first saw and played this at a friend's house. We had a handrittwen "Highscore" list that we updated over several months, signed by all players present when we played it. One simple rule was that highscores only counted when at least one other person was present and signed it off. I wished that list didn't get lost in time. Early 80s gaming included so many things that don't exist anymore today... handwritten high score lists, drawn dungeon maps, and level codes.
Hard to believe it’s been 10 years since @rushtheband ended. I saw this tour in Denver. So glad I did. No band better exemplifies going out the right way with respect & dignity. Didn’t play the farewell card only to come back, had an amazing stage show and set list documenting their history , and were very much at the top of their game with the classic 3 guys on stage together. And they got out before they started to show cracks and fall apart with an epic show. Remember Neil did not know he was sick at this time. No band ended better for their legacy.
Whether we were in our basements with our brothers, in the woods with our buddies, in the car, at a keg party, on a boat, at football practice, at a sleepover….Nobody was more badass to crank up on our speakers than the one and only prince of darkness - Ozzy Osborne! Loved him a lot like we all did! Sending love to the family and so happy to have spent time with the legend himself. RIP
"Kinda lost for words here... we toured with Ozzy in 81 & he, the band & Sharon were SO supportive. He always had time for a chat, took us under his wing & showed us how & how not to party... & played us the 2nd album months before it came out...
