For me the highlight was from composer Kelly-Marie Murphy @KMMOttawa ‘A Thousand Natural Shocks’ with its extreme variations of dynamics and textures. While Izik-Dzurko deserved the standing O he received, I hope all the NACO members felt the appreciation the audience showed.

Another fantastic concert with @NACOrchCNA in Ottawa last night. Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring with all the familiar themes was beautifully rendered. The Rach 3 masterfully performed by Jaeden Izik-Dzurko was awe inspiring as always.

Another bad experience @PlanetFitnessCA on Friday. Went for my regular workout and when I returned and opened my locker my backpack wasn’t in there. I thought must have left it out. Went to the main desk and they said no one had turned it in. Ok, stolen, then I realized I’d

A great concert @CanadasNAC last night. The two pieces by Isidore Zebeljan were full of energy. The Mozart Prague was solid.
The highlight for me was Arturo Marquez guitar concerto masterfully performed by Pablo Sainz-Villegas.

#NACOrchCNA The ‘Monster Mixtape’ concert last night had so many fabulous elements. Loved hearing favourite film themes played live, Psycho, Jaws and many others. The classical selections were also great. My fave was hearing Schubert’s ‘Erlkonig’. My deepest thanks to all.
