@rolandgarrosEN I’ve finally figured out why I’m bothered! The over-the-top hero worship of the so-called “masculine” traits of #Rune - aggression, “adreneline pumping through him” etc. in the commentary. It feels toxic. They also refer to #Ruud *only* as he relates to Rune.1/5

Freaks me out to hear grown older men fawning over a 20-year old boy because hyper “masculinity” ra ra ra. But, it’s interesting getting to observe them being oblivous to their own absurdity. Got calls repeatedly, comically wrong but couldn’t shake the bias 4/5
