For the past year, I've been trying to learn Korean and after taking TOPIK I back in April, the scores are finally out. To make the feeling of getting a score back more fun, I wanted to do something fun 🎉

Even though Lehni did not invent flip dots, seeing the four transitions mesmerized me. Check out his work here: https://t.co/D2FuB9O3E9 and peep this prototype that I did in Figma, the flip dots don’t work that well on hover unfortunately.

On my trip to Switzerland, I went to the Kunsthaus museum where I fell in love with flip dot technology. Right when I saw the piece by Jürg Lehni, I felt inspired to recreate a portion of it on the digital surface, contrary to it.
