@GrahamStephan If you like options and freedom, than no regrets. If I want to change careers for lesser pay for a higher quality of life or take a nice trip, it’s worth it.
Got to a packed Dubrovnik Airport with no where to sit and it was hot. Noted the @British_Airways lounge on top floor was cool and quiet as they accepted Gold @AmericanAir members. A stranger found my wallet too. Blessed!
Drove from Hvar (ferry) to Dubrovnik to experience the old city, a cappuccino on the beach and an amazing dinner at Panorama Restaurant via cable car. So blessed to do this trip with my wife of 31 years. #Dubrovnik#Croatia
Took a car ferry from Split to Hvar. This is the hot spot for private yachts to stop, and I can see why. Spent a nice day at Mlini beach then walking the city at night. Stari Grad was beautiful as well. #Hvar#Croatia#Stari Grad
@lisa1111333 Hvar being an island has less crowds but slightly more expensive. Dubrovnik Old Town is amazing as well but 2 daily cruise ships come in and it gets packed thus go early or late in the day. Highlight to me is Panorama Restaurant. I believe there is Ferry between the two cities.
Next stop, Split! Stayed in the Old Town and ate at Chops, which was great. Honestly though, my favorite was a sandwich from Focaccina’s. Lots of yachts in the harbor. #Split#Croatia
Ok, not sure these pics do it justice but this place may be the highlight thus far. The walking trails interlaced through waterfalls and streams are spectacular! #Plitvice#Croatia
Took a nice break on a travel day at this beautiful waterfall village. Very peaceful and beautiful. Took tour of museum that has access to a small cave underneath the waterfall. #Rastoke#Croatia
