I worked on a tv show involving a corporate office- the set was in an actual new NYC skyscraper (as opposed to a studio and after FDNY inspected the set we had to put frost decals across the glass for safety reasons in case of an emergency!

@culturaltutor The ‘stepped back’ profile of the Art Deco skyscrapers especially in NYC was also due to the 1916 Zoning Resolution that forced tall buildings to allow for sunlight and air to reach the sidewalks below.. which was outdated in 1961 (pic from Wkpdia)

@jilltwiss @anylaurie16 I’ll donate out of state, but the bulk of my energy goes to hand writing postcards (Postcards to Swing States) and letters (Vote Forward) to encourage people to show up. In 2020 I did 800 letters and 300 postcards. Hope it makes a small difference 🤞🏼🤷🏻‍♀️
