With faculty in stats, pure, applied and computational math, and mathematics education, we promote the discovery and dissemination of the mathematical sciences.
Our @JMUMathStat students have joined forces with the Harrisonburg Fire Department to determine the optimal location for a new fire station. The students examined a variety of factors to identify two potential locations for this $4.9 million dollar project. Congrats to this team!
