Today, I joined civic, community, business, social service, and neighborhood leaders to announce the details of our Downtown Activation Plan, a comprehensive approach to revitalize our city center and build the downtown of the future that lives up to our #OneSeattle values.
This is URGENT and Council has one job: adopt state law into the municipal code so we can incentivize treatment and reduce the drug crisis's harms on our communities. Then it’s up to the Mayor and City Attorney, working with our partners, to operationalize city code.
