The lwakhakha town council Engineer Namisindwa district , who fled to Kenya ahead of our accountability inspection, has been apprehended this morning through the joint efforts of our security agencies.
He had been on the run over allegations of mismanagement of road funds in the district. I commend the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, ISO, CID, Uganda Police Force, UPDF and all other security agencies for their professionalism and swift action.
I also thank all the armed forces, led by General @mkainerugaba, for their unwavering support towards this clean-up operation. Your commitment to fighting corruption and ensuring accountability in local governments is greatly appreciated.
We are still searching for the District Engneer, Commercial Officer and the District Production Officer. No one is above the law. All those responsible for the misuse of public resources will be brought to book.
The fight against corruption in local governments is on, and we remain committed to ensuring accountability and value for every taxpayer’s shilling.
Happening now in Namisindwa Expose the Corrupt rally . After inspecting over 20 facilities to day. The population wants improved services delivery and agree to President Museveni’s no corruption agenda !

RWENZORI MARATHON 2026
HON. OGWANG
Hon. @OgwangOgwang has run @RwenzoriMarathn 2 times now and when he came, he couldn’t get a room, I had to give him mine.
He was like Amos, I can’t believe how massive this is and its impact here in kasese and Fortportal.
He said we shall support you as government and I didn’t push much because I thought we shall fight on regardless.
Last year September the First Lady calls us to state house to thank us for the good job and actually did a standing ovation for us and said this is what good citizens are meant to do.
She then asked us why we hadn’t engaged government for support, we said, we needed to show our abilities and anybody interested can come on board.
But hon @OgwangOgwang had explained the importance of RWENZORI MARATHON and how it impacts businesses in many areas.
Now we are world road label race but our target is even higher now, more marketing and more prizes especially next year.
There are only 8 world label marathons in whole of Africa and it’s because it’s not easy to build one. It’s very expensive yet supports the economy in crazy ways.
Kasese community has also embraced so well and are supporting as much as they can though the headache is ours and even more for me.
None of the label is organized at less than usd 2m, we poured our hearts out and we shall still keep pushing.
The UGX 500 million Bulambuli Town Council Bridge project has become the latest test of accountability under the Local Government Ministry’s 'Expose the Corrupt' Operation.

A traditional technique used by young shepherds of Ethiopia’s Banna tribe.
They use stilts to watch over their livestock in tall grass, move through wetland areas, and avoid snakes and predators like lions and leopards.
It requires strength, balance, and training from a young age.
@BalaamBarugahar At last!!
This is basic of a modern society. Push the beaurocrats and liberate them from the donor syndrome, where they always had to wait for the donors to come and tell them what needs to be done. These are some of the things that can be done with minimal funding.
To some brothers of mine who are not bothered by what is going on in our local governments and cities, this is a “pit latrine” with out a pit that cost taxpayers UGX 73 million. Is this the Uganda we want? This is unacceptable.
My brother Simon and others on x , this is exactly why the #ExposeTheCorrupt campaign must continue. No one will stop this train. There are still a few hours and days left for repentance.
When you steal public funds, you will be exposed publicly. If you hate humiliation, don’t tamper with or misuse public resources. Every shilling belongs to the people and must be used for its intended purpose. Let us improve our public infrastructure, strengthen service delivery, and restore accountability in local government.
I sincerely thank the DISOs of Mbale and Bulambuli, the CID officers, the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, the DPC Mbale, RPC Twalla, the DPC Bulambuli, the outgoing Deputy RDC of Bulambuli, the RDC of Mbale District, and all patriotic Ugandans led by our General Secretary, Hon. Twalla Fadhil, together with all the Area Members of Parliament for Mbale and Bulambuli, who have supported the #ExposeTheCorrupt campaign so far.
I also appeal to all staff in the Office of the President, ISO, Crime Intelligence officers, RDCs, and every patriotic Ugandan to join and support the #ExposeTheCorrupt movement. Together, let us protect taxpayers’ money, improve public infrastructure, and deliver the quality services our people deserve.
