WHERE’S THE BEEF… coming from? As most of you have seen in the news, food safety issues from imported foods have been a constant problem for this administration. Foodborne illness events are at record highs, and it seems as if huge food recalls are happening daily. One of the most recent recalls was the 30,000 pounds of beef from Argentina. The recall is being classified as a Class I recall, which, according to the USDA, means a health hazard situation where there is a "reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death."

Two weeks later, Trump announced that the U.S. will be importing 300,000 tons of tariff-free beef, sending the U.S. beef industry into a tailspin. Is it coming from Argentina? USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins, who should absolutely know WHERE THE BEEF is coming from, refuses to tell the public.

Meanwhile, American cattle ranchers are livid. Hayden Scarborough, a North Texas cattle buyer, said, “It’s going to brutally impact [cattle ranchers].” “There’s about seven or eight ranches bigger than 30-40,000 acres. The reason they haven’t sold their ranches to data centers is because of the high prices they’re getting for these cattle. Words out of their mouth are, ‘We’re finally getting what it’s worth.'” Tens of thousands of acres of Texas ranch land turning into data centers isn’t the play anyone imagined after Trump’s beef deal. But squeezing ranchers makes it one step closer to reality. “So this tariff deal, this is a temporary fix,” he says. “Everybody that’s cheering for it, honestly. I’m just using common sense… this is a 90-day fix. In those 90 days that this thing tanks like it’s tanking, you’re going to see about 50% of people quit.” He says to do the math: 50% of people quit, meaning 50% less beef. He doesn’t understand why people making these decisions won’t listen to honest ranchers.

To make matters worse for American shoppers, the Trump administration refuses to support mandatory Country of Origin Labeling (COOL), keeping Americans in the dark about where their beef is coming from.

@BabyD1111229 With all of the surveillance in this country, crime still hasn't slowed down. That mentality if I am not doing anything wrong is stupid. That literally means you don't mind cameras watching you in your house all day, even showering and sleeping. It's stupid.

@FrmNGGStoGODs Some years back a guy told me he was sending the police to my house for fraud after I told him to stop harassing me. I told him, go ahead, they will more than likely send an officer that I know personally. He hung up on me. I live in a predominantly black area.

In March 2025 the USDA canceled the Local Food for Schools and Local Food Purchase Assistance programs, pulling roughly a billion dollars that had funded direct purchases from in-state farms.

A body found burned and wrapped in a tarp along a Greenville, Mississippi, roadway has been identified as Robert Elliott, police said.

Elliott’s body was discovered by a passerby on July 21. Greenville police said detectives are continuing to process evidence, pursue leads and determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
