If you're a citizen and you steal a postcard out of your neighbor's mailbox, you go to prison for a couple years. But if you're a Chinese guy and you steal our country's most strategic trade secrets, you only go to prison for a couple months. What a joke.
Former Google software engineer Linwei Ding stole over 2,000 confidential pages of flagship AI chip technology for his Beijing startup, yet he was sentenced to just one year in US prison on September 1, 2026.
While working on Google's core supercomputing team, Ding secretly exfiltrated confidential files covering custom TPU and GPU hardware systems. He then used those stolen trade secrets to pitch Chinese investors, openly promising to replicate Google's AI architecture to build up China's computing power.
Federal prosecutors demanded nearly six years behind bars to send a clear message to foreign competitors. However, the judge vacated the heavier economic espionage charges due to a lack of direct proof linking his startup to official CCP handlers, leaving only the trade secret theft counts intact.
The resulting 12-month sentence sits far below what prosecutors wanted, leaving many in the tech sector questioning whether US enforcement is strong enough to deter high-level intellectual property theft.
Thank the Lord she was shot dead on the scene
We would’ve had to do the whole $500k gofundme, year long trial, “she was going to be a doctor!” thing for an obvious murderer again
It’s getting extraordinarily hard for me not viscerally hate these people.
The victim went to U Penn, graduated magna cum laude, then graduated Fordham Law magna cum laude, then worked in an M&A group of a top law firm, got married, and then transitioned into an in house role at BofA (likely to have more reasonable hours/lack of billable/better maternity benefits), making probably max 300k total comp in a city where a studio costs an average of 4.5k month, and a post tax take home of probably around 155k, and then after all that, she gets murdered by a mentally ill, morbidly obese torta that had already had multiple known mental health episodes, and was walking around with no inhibition just randomly stabbing people because these people hate ordered societies and risk management for some reason, and these freaks are celebrating it.
I don't understand people who think we shouldn't kill dangerous people just bc they're mentally ill... it feels like that's even *more* reason to kill them
32 yaşındasın. Bank of America'da çalışıyorsun. Manhattan'da, polis karakolunun yüz metre ötesinde iş çıkışı yürüyorsun.
Tanımadığın bir kadın Target poşetinden iki kasap bıçağı çıkarıyor. Rastgele seni seçiyor.
Amerika'nın en boktan yüzü bu işte. Her şeyi doğru yapmışsın, sonra sokakta rastgele ölüyorsun.
A lot of people hate immigrants at the lower end of the economic spectrum, and I understand that. But more people should hate the immigrants that make a lot of money. I work in finance and I talk with these people everyday.
They suck.
The entitlement is off the charts

Killed by a psycho because our leaders don’t do what they’re supposed to.
Imagine working your ass off to get to a 100k a year position only to get killed by a fat mexican and then for leftists to make fun of your death cause they think you’re an evil billionaire
A well-adjusted normal woman murdered in cold blood because we're too scared of deporting psychotic tortas
We deserve better and Erin Piacenti should be alive today
