@KatBaileyNP @DrMeganHoseyPhD Likely due to poor positioning in prone and improper attention paid to arm position during the rotation of the patient into prone. Also see it with moving these patients later on d/t severe weakness. Low muscle tone = high risk of subluxation.

@KathrynBrito @Dr_Ridge_DPT @docmacoypt @HeidiEngel4 That is awesome! I wish our hospital was on board with this. We have been banned from COVID rooms in the ICU, and the staff with the most knowledge on these issues have been flexed off.

@PenelopeFirshma This is exactly what happened in our hospital. A consultant ID MD advised banning PT/OT from PUI and + COVID rooms in ICU and the ICU MDs, staff, and management went along with it. Now we have a whole wave of people not getting the tx they need

@DaytonKali @mkfrdmn I have been home for the past 12 days after Becoming I’ll and presumed +COVID from exposure at work - unable to get a test. Just got an email stating that a consultant ID MD advised banning PT/OT from vented COVID rooms since 3/29 and the ICU went along with it.
