@RodDMartin True Story. I moved from CA to NC in 2023. A Penske truck was $8K in San Diego due to a shortage of trucks in CA, but $4K in El Paso. So I flew to El Paso, rented a truck and drove it to San Diego to load my stuff. Still saved 3k after factoring in airfare, hotels etc.
