@QuitoNitura I think this is probable. With Bam Aquino winning, it's actually a good indicator that this campaign tactic will work. Bam and Kiko focused on Education and Agriculture, kaya top #2 and #5 sila sa Senate. Solutions talaga on key issues will hopefully get the people to vote right

The Democratic Blue Tsunami of 2026 is a lesson in campaigning for all opposition forces, even for the Philippines.

Republicans ran on a campaign of fear, painting immigrants, Muslims, Democrats, and others as villains. They ran on an anti-woke message.

Democrats campaigned on more fundamental issues. High prices of oil, cost of living, etc. They offered solutions and alternatives. And in the case of Talarico, he campaigned on Hope. Yes, the Democrats still have progressive (some would say woke) policies, but they did not focus on these. They focused on issues of the gut.

The Democratic playbook is similar to what Bam and Kiko followed in the 2025 elections. It’s proven to work. Kakampinks better learn that lesson now if we want to win in 2028.
