🇺🇦 Soldiers beaten after coming back from desertion.

Ukrainian journalist Anton Gura reported on the brutal treatment of soldiers who voluntarily returned after unauthorized absence (UA) in the Makulan area.

According to him, employees of the Military Law Enforcement Service (VSP) were caught beating these servicemen.

Gura claims that the soldiers left the unit not out of fear, but due to moral exhaustion — because of lies, humiliation, and inadequate command, but later returned on their own. Instead of an official disciplinary procedure, according to the journalist, they were met with fists, kicks, and bats.

The result — fractures, epileptic seizures, bruises, and severe injuries. Then, he claims, demands for bribes followed — from 3 to 5 thousand dollars to "settle" the UA issue.

"This is not law enforcement, this is a rat business,"
— Gura stated.

He called on the State Bureau of Investigation to intervene:
