@cptnsgr And in all three seasons he was abused by his lovers for either "not loving them enough" and/or wanting to get out of the relationship. In S2 they even team up for the ultimate betrayal. I'm lowkey rooting for Lemuel.
@ukedulac@wolflelio I was really sad in EP7, when he listed three things he wasn't that being an artist was one of them. Especially, after Armand was mocking him with the Fred Stein Pics.
@patricidenjoyer Lestat "saved" him at the trial, but left him to starvation & madness. Then he left him again with Armand at the tower. Then in 1973 he knew Louis is hurt, but he does nothing. But what he is able to do for the majority this season is insult Louis & make diss tracks.
@itscamilleport If anyone had any empathy towards Louis in that writing room, the things done to discredit, humiliate, diminish & brutalize him would've never happened. They only like him on his knees, confessing his sins & seeking forgiveness from the ones that hurt/abused him the most.
@coffinalafin If they want to go this route than they should've delved deeper into that in Lestat's own season! Instead we get wishy washy might-change-my-mind-later one liners. They want to stay ambiguous & excuse it as intentional unreliable narrator choices but that is just weak writing!
@ldpdlcakes Hope it's the case, but I genuinely doubt that. I don't think bad reception is gonna motivate them to reflect on things or to change for S4. I think they are just gonna wash their hands of it like they did with the lynching & DV
@dailyraleighr Nah, he didn't, that's the funny part. There is a clip, where he was so full of indignation that he had to stop himself from ranting ๐๐๐๐
@1waytostaylive I've trouble swallowing the Loustat pill this season, when songs like Big Bad Wolf exist. He sings it every night he has a gig & even puts it on his album. I don't really buy him actually loving Louis as much or more than Louis loves him.
@AlotdeLioncourt I think it depicts Dr. Fareed's inexperience with suturing wounds. I expect Talamasca to have their own guy to attach Lestat's head & his age & powerlvl is far higher than Louis'. Gabriella could've given Lestat her powerful blood to heal & Louis would've taken a normal blood bag
@itscamilleport Reminds me of Alderman Fenwick: "...but that's your problem, Louis, always has been. You're arrogant. You haven't accepted your place in this world..."
@letlovewinx Sorry, to say that they are not touching here. Louis is resting his hand on the back of the seat, while Lestat is propped up on his elbows with clasped hands. It is made clear if you rewatch the scene.
