Random musings from an A&E waiting room...why aren't all the loos fully accessible? So many frail/injured people. Also, people wait for hours (we've been here 8 hours so far). Why is the only food available crisps or chocolate from a vending machine?

My trooper of a mother-in-law has been sat in a wheelchair in A&E with a head injury and a broken sternum for 12 hours. They’re going to keep her in for observation when they find a bed. In the meantime, she’s been given nothing, not even paracetamol.

@DragonTaxisNPT Just spoken to @DragonTaxisNPT only to be told that pre-booking a taxi doesn’t actually - get this - pre-book you a taxi. It just lets the drivers know there’s a potential fare. So I’ve been stood outside waiting for a taxi that isn’t going to come.
