@jamison_dance Also, prompting "generate 5 distinct designs" seems like a good idea to force variety.
For AI, I'd probably use Tailwind -- I think models like it.
@jamison_dance If you want to give AI a shot: If I recall correctly, Theo said Gemini 3 Pro makes good 1shot designs; Opus with a skill prompt (https://t.co/lMoblkmwSa) was even better. https://t.co/7rnKkBGr2r
@StopFundingHate@British_Airways@British_Airways I'm shocked and disappointed to learn you're advertising with GB News! I hope you'll reconsider -- knowing that my £££ flow on to funding this type of racist rhetoric doesn't make me feel good about flying with you!
This post (https://t.co/iqLfbVgVE5) is a great evidence-based investigation into what LLMs might "experience", and the tensions at the heart of functionalist accounts.
Highly recommended reading for those even slightly philosophically curious about our recent first-contact event

What's the main notation you're used to (from school or work) when you're transforming equations?
x - 1 = 0
⇒ x = 1
x - 1 = 0
⇔ x = 1
x - 1 = 0
so x = 1
x - 1 = 0
x = 1
Please reply if you use something else!
📺 NEW 📺
TalkTV keeps broadcasting anti-trans views with nobody in the studio to push back.
It’s up to us to stop them. Write to Ofcom here: https://t.co/S5i0I3pCY5
@jreynoldsMP No idea what the steel policy matter is about, but this nationalist rhetoric about national interest is pretty vile and I'd rather have less of it from Labour. 🇪🇺 /@RupaHuq
@StopFundingHate @VolvoCarUK @VolvoCarUK As a queer woman, I find it incredibly disappointing to see you financially supporting this kind of rhetoric! 😞
If we reach our new £15,000 stretch target, this will enable #StopFundingHate to:
*Run more campaign actions to increase pressure on advertisers
*Do more monitoring to track GB News’s toxic output
*Create more social content to build the campaign

@izs Aside: This is not as much of a counterfactual as is commonly believed. The idea that the US was always against the nazis seems to be selective memory; what side to be on was actually controversial in the US before it entered the war. See Rachel Maddow's podcast Ultra, season 1.
@Esqueer_ There seems to be plenty of American far-right money to go around in support of Israeli atrocities. Settler-colonialist project and all that, like you said.
@Esqueer_ Minor point (100% agree on everything else): I think we shouldn't call it "a foreign gov buying US elections", as it's not actually true (e.g. don't think AIPAC can receive donations from Israel), and can give room to anti-semitic dogwhistles ("Israel controls the world" etc.)
@rrika9 I guess, yeah, each of the column vectors gets pushed back against its original direction, and the eigenvector gets pushed to 0.
I think this is basically the intuition that you had, so perhaps this just confirms there isn't a much better geometric interpretation 🤷♀️
@rrika9 So here's the animation, where the blue and red arrows are the column vectors of A, and the yellow vector is an eigenvector.
