@txdvm1 My colleagues call this my 'nuggets of knowledge'. Like I can tell you why you should use that drug/do the procedure this way, but can I back it up with the why and the how? Absolutely not folks π
@RadarLanark How are you today? You've been on my mind. My lovely mum is suffering from early onset dementia due to her Parkinson's diagnosis and I've felt so connected to your journey, an insight to how my dad feels β€οΈ
@RadarLanark My mum's behaviour changes so acutely with any sort of infection but especially with a UTI. And it's another mental load for you to take on board, I hope you get some respite/support and the antibiotics get to work quickly.
@DrDCowVet We've all been in your position and beaten ourselves up repeatedly. Try and take time to reflect, think of all the successes, the good outcomes. We are all human. Take time to reflect. BE KIND to yourself.
βI call it the bittersweet curse. Nothing feels better than going home, and nothing feels better than leaving home.β

@SuzJamieson Unfortunately be prepared to fight every stage of the way, my mum in a similar position with dementia/Parkinson's and it's been a battle for everything (practically a full time job for my dad is also her carer as there are none of those either)
