Kenya’s youth are no longer just users of digital spaces, we are organizers, creators, workers, and civic actors shaping what democracy looks like online. From access and safety to digital labour and free expression, the future of our digital world must be inclusive, accountable, and youth-driven.

African Patient Dialogue🌍🌍🌍
New Paradigm: From research participants, to research partners
@JoabWako and I thrilled to host PxP Africa on 13 August 2025.
We developed the content, identified African patient partner (lived experience) speakers, set the session format & time - and the branding!
We are grateful to the Canadian Institutes for Health Research for the administrative, research knowledge, technical and financial resources provided to enable us to share our vision of what African patient-inclusion in research ought to look like.
(Africans as leaders in African health)
It's 4:47pm: We’ve raised nearly KSh 420,000 so far 🙌🏾 enough to bring several of our brothers & sisters home.
Frankline is now free after days behind bars KSH bail of Ksh 50,000 (and 2 others)
Yasmin is still in remand, facing an outrageous bail of Ksh 300,000. We are processing more 🙏🏾
Your generosity is changing lives, but stories are still pouring in from across the country. We will keep updating as we verify each case.
Thank you, Kenyans, for standing in solidarity. 🇰🇪❤️
Let’s keep going until no one is left behind.

Key message: Global health CSOs must practice substantive lived experience inclusion and just solidarity with African and global south CSOs.
I am grateful to Dr Guy Fones and Ms Maia Olsen @WHO (Geneva) for consistently leading the way in establishing global normative standards for meaningful lived experience inclusion.

For weeks, the gafment has labelled young people and activists as anarchists, yet today’s front-page headline exposes the real architects of chaos: government officials themselves.
Shame on you!
Thank you to @StandardKenya@KTNNewsKE for exposing the true anarchists hiding behind power.
Behold! It was never rogue “commercial activists" or "directionless gen z" We knew it. Now the country does too.
And now? Silence from those in leadership. Also, since the use of goons has been exposed.... what tactic next? A terror scare?
#Justice4OurMashujaa #NeverForget
The proceedings in the Senate today are not new to us. We witnessed the same performance last year following the events of June 25th—a spectacle that, despite its gravity, yielded no justice and no accountability.
The conduct of the National Police Service in this case is deeply troubling. From issuing false statements about the murder of Albert Ojwang to tampering with CCTV footage at Central Police Station, all signs point to a deliberate cover-up to shield those responsible.
We do not need more hollow assurances. The truth is already evident in the autopsy report.
As investigations continue, we make one clear and uncompromising demand:
Deputy Inspector General Eliud Lagat must resign, be arrested, and charged with murder.
We will not allow Albert Ojwang to become another forgotten statistic. We will not move on. #Justice4OurMashujaa #FagiaWote
