For the past 10-12 years, American media companies have failed to extend the runway for successful Latino journalism efforts. Now, @axios has given up.
Axios Latino was a success. It was required reading for anyone who followed U.S. Latino communities.

NEW: Tens of thousands of paper voter registration forms were dropped off damaged or incomplete at the Maricopa County Recorder's Office just before the sign-up deadline, which could leave some voters in limbo heading into Election Day.

Voters: If you think your ballot was impacted, you've got two options.
- Request a new mailed ballot before end-of-day tomorrow.
- Check https://t.co/FqpNn7WzmJ to see if your ballot was received by election officials. It usually updates within 72 hours. If not, vote in person.
For almost 4 yrs I've managed a texting service that unhoused ppl, service providers, journalists, and even some city workers subscribe to. I've mostly sent out sanitation schedules that the city refuses to make public. Recently I sent me 1,000th "broadcast" and hit 185 subs.
