Fishermen mend their nets at Kalamukku harbour in Vypeen, Ernakulam, as they prepare to venture into the sea after the annual trawling ban ends on July 31. Stunning pic by RK Nithin for The Hindu
Notice the timing of the Diary Entry at Parliament Street P.S- it was filed at 1.24 am on July 22, two days after the July 20 incident and hours after The Hindu reported that RAF used pellet guns at protestors. RAF made sure to document that it was done on the directions of Delhi Police.
Also, Following the July 20 incident, the RAF withdrew shock batons, electric shields, pump-action guns, and the anti-riot guns, which fire pellets, from personnel deployed at Jantar Mantar. A review by RAF I-G General also highlighted “serious deficiencies” in RAF behaviour during the march, in violation of its principle of “sensitive policing”.

I saw the pure hatred and trolling here that @vijaita got for her pellet gun report, which now multiple outlets have reported. She didn't budge. Pure grit
Appalling violence against an unarmed, youth-led civil disobedience movement in India.
Peaceful protestors were challenging the broken education system under the Modi government. They were met with tear gas and baton charges.
Solidarity with those demanding justice.
Read the story. It mentions that Delhi Police has denied using pellets. Pellet guns and shock-batons are part of RAF gear, which was working alongside Delhi Police and deployed in and around Jantar Mantar on July 20. RAF is a part of CRPF. The central armed police forces are deployed on the request of the State police, in this case- Delhi Police.
Fascinated by his thought process. His criticisms against the protest are:
(1) not spontaneous
(2) preplanned
(3) organised
(4) timed to coincide with parliament opening
I doubt any of the protest organisers or supporters would even deny these things.
After chance remarks established we both like rainbows, a colleague and I send each other photos whenever we see one. I've since learned she's very Christian and sees them as a sign of God's love. I am very gay. It'll come out, well I will, but we'll share pretty photos first.
