Nor was labelling Brexit supporters racist. She could have won, and Brexit could have been avoided. So vote in the next election, and don’t give up.

Staying cool and collected, presenting well founded arguments is probably a better option. There are millions who vote republican who aren’t despicable fascists, why not try to win them over, rather than hurling insults.

@chipadeedoodah @RogueLeader42 @halleluyang @ChuckWendig It’s okay to be angry about the current state of affairs, but I fear more vitriol of that kind only helps the people you are against. It didn’t prevent Brexit, it didn’t stop Trump, and I doubt it will win you the next elections.

But I do think that’s exactly the point when we need to remember that anger alone won’t solve the problems we face. You guys have an important election coming up. Remember that they thrive on polarization, and the degeneration of political debate into angry spite only serves their purpose. Be better than them, be principled and accountable when they are not.

Problem is, he got elected to the highest office there is, and that comes with immunity so he’s nearly impossible to fire as it is. If the democrats could stop responding to his shenanigans precisely the way he wants, he could be ‘fired’ in 2020.
