So if anything, there should have been more Republicans campaigning with Harris on the message “take our party back.” But there weren’t. That isn’t Harris’s fault.

Cheney isn’t just a “country club Republican”, she was one of the only Republicans brave enough to call out Trump’s autocratic behavior.

The victims were probably all low wage workers, the cops failed to patrol the bridge or even show up, so apparently it’s not a civic priority - the mayor didn’t even hold a typically grandstanding press conference
