Orlene Hawks will lead @michiganLARA. Hawks currently serves as director of the Office of Children’s Ombudsman, where she has worked for the last five years to ensure greater accountability and transparency in Michigan’s child welfare system.
.@MIDIFS will be headed by Anita Fox, who brings more than 30 years of experience in the legal field to the role, having specialized in litigating a wide range of business and insurance issues.
Office of the Children’s Ombudsman will be led by Lisa McCormick. McCormick served a 21-year tenure at the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office. She also founded Small Talk Children’s Advocacy Center with the belief that every child deserves a safe place for healing.
In January, I will be joining the 17 State AGs defending the #ACA on behalf of the 1.7 million Michiganders who have pre-existing conditions and the hundreds of thousands of our state residents who rely on the ACA for health insurance.
