4SB have been a super team in their first term of Year 4. We are really enjoying our Viking theme. Our class novel is ‘Roar’ and many of the children volunteered to be part of the team writing descriptions of the evil character ‘Crowky’ for our corridor display. @SPSPlymouth
🤩Class 2SW are all ‘Stars of the Week’ this week after such super learning this term! We are very proud of all of them and wish you all a well-deserved sunny break this half term. 🤓@SPSPlymouth
Year 2 children in class today were so excited today about seeing all of their friends on Monday. They have been counting down the days all week. We are really looking forward to next week! @SPSPlymouth
Well done to all Year 2 pupils, parents and staff! You have all been such a super team working things out together on Zoom, in school and using the learning packs. We had a great session about Microsoft Teams today too. We are definitely ‘all in this together.’ 🤓 @SPSPlymouth
Y2 We always enjoy pets joining in with our learning on Zoom; today we had the surprise visit of Katelynn’s two Guinean pigs which made us all smile at the start. Then Louie made me smile when he asked to stay on for me to read the end of ‘Ocean Meets Sky’ to him. @SPSPlymouth
Year 2: 🔥 Oliver took on the extra challenge after our Zoom session today to publish his Great Fire of London diary writing - using tea stained paper and safely burning the edges, with his mum, to make it look like a true piece of history. @SPSPlymouth
Year 2 remote learning highlight today: Super Great Fire of London history/Design Technology project sent to me from Gracie today. Superb house with wooden beams and straw roof on fire! @SPSPlymouth
Year 2 - some great remote learning being sent through from both morning Zoom sessions and afternoon activities; writing/history/art all linked, fractions and cooking for science changing materials. Keep sending it our way! @SPSPlymouth
Made the most of our live fractions lesson on Zoom first thing this morning: as Ruben ate his breakfast bap we worked out when 1/4, 1/3 and 1/2 had disappeared! 🤓@SPSPlymouth
@Vicvixe@SPSPlymouth@MissStarksSPS Wow! This is a super creative way to bring the history timeline to life. I love the soldier and the Tudor houses. You can build on this project with next Wednesday’s history sessions. Well done! Miss Spring
2SW Remote Learning Week One.
A super start with some regular ‘Zoomers’; the Y2 teachers look forward to seeing more of you next week. Some ‘Great Fire of London’ projects beginning too. As always, we look forward to Weller’s daily ‘Name that tune’ keyboard quizzes. @SPSPlymouth
