An honour to be in Rome to celebrate Fr Leonard Eugene Boyle’s immense legacy. We loved him dearly. He was an extraordinary human being and scholar. Thank you to the Dominicans in Rome and Ireland and the Vatican library.
Fr. Boyle's spirit & humour were very much present in the testimonies given by his fellow Dominicans, his students & colleagues. His religious life & work is something his family & Irish people can rightly be proud of. Wonderful to have his family in Rome today for the occasion.
It is a privilege to be here with the next generation to celebrate centenary of the birth of Fr Eugene in San Clemente & Vatican library. His wit, humanity, scholarship & humanitas unparalleled. Laughter and tears and all my ancestors with us- his impact on our hearts profound.
Congrats all. Amazing and well deserved recognition for all your hard work and dedication- a v significant innovation - needs to be sustained and amplified in our current uncertain world. Bravo! @AnneRabbitte@DisabilityFed@InclusionIre@NatFedVSP@GowranRosie

KURT VONNEGUT:
I went out to buy an envelope ~ Oh, my wife says, well, you're not a poor man, You know, why don't you go online and buy a hundred envelopes and put them in the closet? And so I pretend not to hear her. And go out to get an envelope because I'm going to have a hell of a good time in the process of buying one envelope.
I meet a lot of people. And, see some great looking babes. And a fire engine goes by. And I give them the thumbs up. And I ask a woman what kind of dog that is. And, and I don't know. The moral of the story is, is we're here on Earth to fart around.
And, of course, the computers will do us out of that. And, what the computer people don't realize, or they don't care, is we're dancing animals. You know, we love to move around. And, we're not supposed to dance at all anymore. ~ Kurt Vonnegut 100%

We welcome the circulation of this memo shared with us by a kind source from CEO of the HSE. Delays in the provision of aids and equipment are an indefensible and inhumane experience suffered by many children and adults across Ireland. Please RT
Thanks @thejournal_ie for this piece. That EU subsidies give European agri-food sector (incl. Irish dairy producers) advantages over African producers isn't controversial 1/2
