If I'm honest the reason why is because they most likely had no plans for anything beyond Gen 1 and Gen 2 cast. In the end of the day its a indie project that doesn't have a guaranteed future so the reasons why was because they didn't think they'll get this far to potentially have an all stars season be dc5.

Its unfortunate but its the reality of things like these. The creators were just hasty. It is why for me its not so baffling that they did an all stars season so soon. If I know one thing when it comes to creating something, people usually never plan that far ahead, especially indie projects that rely on patreon money and constant YouTube revenue to get their funds.

Can we please just accept that Disventure Camp started out as a TD fanshow and that while hes it doing its own thing is GOOD it doesnt automatically make the early seasons and the way they were inspired by TD bad? Like yes the influence is there but Tipiskaw is genuinely fine??

This is an interesting topic bcs it's related with the creation of shorts and and the pandemics. Long things don't catch children attention anymore, so the companies produce more short stuff that will sell things and keep children entertained with less cost
