Spend ample time to pray in tongues!
Your destiny will thank you for it...
“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,”
Jude 1:20
Do not make the mistake to think that you cannot legitimately prosecute a 6-hour prayer session ONLY in tongues.
You can.
As long as you are not tonguing mindlessly, you can pray ALL of your prayers for that session in tongues. You can.
Don't get it twisted. You should carry your mind along in prayer. But that doesn't necessarily mean you'd be doing large swatches of the prayer with your understanding. It might. But not necessarily.
The model is still: Pray in the spirit, with your spirit and your understanding.
And if praying in the Spirit means ONLY praying with your spirit, then by all means pray in the Spirit.
If praying in the Spirit means ONLY praying with your understanding, please pray in the Spirit.
If praying in the Spirit means utilizing your spirit and your understanding in prayer, do it.
Just pray in the Spirit.
Holy, holy, holy!
Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee
Holy, holy, holy!
Merciful and mighty
God in three persons
Blessed Trinity!
WHAT IS PURPOSE?
Purpose is that one thing for which you were created and at which you must succeed otherwise nothing else you succeed at will count.

Positional righteousness and the practice of righteousness go hand-in-hand.
The consciousness of new life in Christ also demands that you cannot continue in old behaviour.
“My speech and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words but in demonstration of the Spirit and Power.”
-Paul
The Apostle chose his words carefully. He could have said his preaching were not with wise and persuasive words but in the spirit and power.
That would have still made sense.
But he distinguished between his speech and his preaching and also how they were brought.
Question is, how do you demonstrate the power of the Spirit in your preaching?
If you say you demonstrate it by preaching that’s redundant. Because what he’s emphasising is not the existence of the Spirit’s power but its demonstration through his speech and his preaching.
The example is all over the New Testament.
Preaching that persuades MUST be followed by demonstration of the power of the Spirit.
If we do any differently we’re doing what the Apostles before us didn’t do.
If you’re not preaching with the demonstration of the Spirit’s power you are preaching with the enticing words of men’s wisdom.
Now this doesn’t mean everyone who is preaching with demonstration is demonstrating the power of the Spirit. The emphasis is not on preaching with demonstration but on the demonstration of the Spirit’s power.
If you’re indeed preaching the gospel don’t settle for preaching it without demonstrating the power of the Spirit.

A "gay church" should not exist in the first place. If a church is built on affirming and promoting what the Bible clearly calls sin, then it's no longer standing on the truth of God's Word.
Everyone is welcome in the body of Christ, but no one is called to remain in sin. The Gospel calls all of us to repentance and transformation through Jesus.
A church that justifies sin instead of helping people overcome it is not functioning as a true church according to Scripture.
THE POWER OF SAYING NO || IBUKUN AWOSIKA
So many years ago, I had my first cousin from my mother’s side. My mother is Cameroonian, so this was my first cousin from my Cameroonian side, who had grown up in our house like my brother. He had finished school and all that and came to work in my company. One sad day, he was so rude to me in the factory—it was unbelievable. All my workers were there, so I left the factory and went straight to my parents’ house. I went to my mom because she’s his aunt, and I said to her, “Mommy, I’ve come to tell you, please do not beg me to take this guy back. This is what happened; I have fired him. Please, I am begging you, do not beg me to take him back because I know that’s what you will do.” Then I left and went back home. I was married at this point.
Of course, you know mothers. My mother left me for a while. My cousin was sitting around the house; they hadn’t found a job for many months. In her own way, acting out of love for her nephew—not thinking she was going to harm me in any way—thinking maybe by now I would have gotten over being angry, she went to my mother-in-law and asked my mother-in-law to please ask me to take my cousin back. Oh wow. Now, my mother-in-law had never really asked me for anything before. She was one of those really good mothers-in-law.
Honestly, when she came to me and said, “I would like to ask you for a favor,” I didn’t see it coming. Then she said, “I’m pleading with you, please, I’d like you to take your cousin back.” I said, “Ah, Mama, no, no, no, no.” She said, “Please, your mother asked me to please ask you, because she knows you will not say no to me.” I just started crying because I was really upset that my mom did that. I knew she didn’t mean any harm; she didn’t see it as doing harm. She just felt that, okay, your cousin offended you, you would have gotten over it by now—please take him back. I was in such a difficult situation, and because my mother-in-law had never asked me for anything before and the way she asked me—and I loved my mother-in-law so much—eventually I said yes to her.
Knowing fully well it would do harm to my respect with my staff, it was painful for me, but I couldn’t say no to my mother-in-law. So I said yes. But I thought I was smart. I didn’t send my cousin to work in the factory in Lagos; I sent him to my showroom in Kano then. I sent him there thinking I could avoid problems. You know, when you do not say no when you should, it will cost you a bigger price later. Many, many months down the line, maybe a year or two later, my aunt who lived in Kano called me and said, “I need you to come here now.” I was in Lagos. I said, “Why?” She said one of my staff that worked in the showroom in Kano came to her to say she needed to report some things that were going on in the business.
As it turned out, my cousin was scamming me big time. He had gotten into a bad crowd, made some unhealthy friends in Kano, and was living the life—but at my expense. They were reporting no sales or low sales, but he was making sales and diverting money to live the life he was living with the crowd he had gotten involved with. A lot of stuff was going on. I remember my husband and I took a flight to Kano unannounced that day. We went there—it was a sorry story. Cutting the long story short, that day, one more time, I had to fire my cousin. But he had done a lot of damage to the business.
Of course, my staff in the Lagos factory already knew my cousin was in the Kano office because we used to send goods from Lagos to the showroom in Kano for their sales. People would go back and forth between the factory in Lagos and the showroom in Kano. I was ashamed and embarrassed that I had to do that—to take him in again and then have him betray me even worse the second time. I could have saved myself all that if, when my mother got my mother-in-law to ask me to take my cousin back, I had stood my ground and stuck to my “no,” which was the right answer at that moment.
PASTOR, I AM AFRAID FOR YOU… (PART 15)
A LETTER TO SONS...
I am weeping, sons…
Because I have lived long enough to see the thing we feared become the thing you love.
Sons, I am not angry
I am broken.
Because I see the same serpent that killed fathers
now coiled around your generation,
and you are laughing with it as though it were harmless.
I have watched sin become soft.
No more shame.
You quote grace while you flirt with darkness.
You say “GOD understands,”
but you do not understand GOD.
I have watched success become your gospel.
You call ambition “faith.”
You call restlessness “vision.”
You say “the LORD has enlarged me,”
but I cannot smell the fragrance of HIM on you.
You are growing outward and dying inward.
And now popularity
the new golden calf of the church.
You crave to be known more than to be Pure.
You measure the anointing by the size of the crowd.
You edit the Holy Spirit until He fits the trend.
Sons, this is not revival; it is rebellion in bright clothes.
You no longer know the fear of God.
You know lights, angles, hashtags,
but not the silence of His presence.
You speak well of Him,
but you do not know Him anymore.
I remember nights when we prayed till the dawn broke.
We begged God not to leave us.
We feared missing one whisper of His voice.
Now I see you fear only missing an invitation.
Sons, you are drowning,
and I can hear the water closing over you while you smile.
You think it is blessing,
but it is the flood of your own pride.
Sons, the oil is leaking while you are busy taking pictures of the bottle.
Your generation does not fear losing God;
it fears losing followers.
You no longer ask, “Is He pleased?”
You only ask, “Did it trend?”
I have seen you laugh at correction.
You say, “They don’t understand the new move.”
But I tell you, it is not a move; it is a drift.
And every current that leaves the River of Holiness ends in the Sea of Death.
I am not writing to condemn you.
I am writing because my knees ache from crying.
I dont want any Gifted Man Buried.
Son,
Hide again.
Lose the noise.
Let obscurity heal you.
Let holiness become heavier than hype.
Let GOD’s “well done” matter more than man’s “wow.”
For the day is coming when the lights will go out.
And only the flame inside will remain.
If that flame is gone,
everything else you built will be dust.
Sons, I am weeping for you.
Because I see greatness upon you,
but I also see graves being dug around you.
The same fire that could make you shine
will consume you if you keep playing with it.
Please…
return.
Not to ministry,
to God.
There is still Mercy.
And it is Not late.
And my tears cannot save you if you will not bow again.
I don’t know 🤷 how 9-5 got a bad pr. When did labor become a shameful thing! Or working for people. You see a man genuinely striving, and you are comparing him to Tik tokers that dance for money. We actually need more people to talk. The comments I see on some of these posts?bad
