1. You don't need a deeper voice to sound confident. Just stop rushing your words.

2. Build your shoulders. Your physique gives your clothes their shape. Even the simplest shirt will look more expensive on you.

3. Find the right barber. A lot of men think they're unattractive when they just have the wrong haircut for their head shape.

4. Slow down your movements. You'll instantly look more composed.

5. Drink more water. It's one of the cheapest things you can do to improve your appearance.

6. Record yourself speaking. You'll quickly notice the little things that make you sound less confident than you actually are.

7. Wash your bedsheets more often. It can help reduce breakouts and keep your skin healthier.

8. Wear more muted colors like black, grey, and navy blue.

9. Smelling good is part of looking good. Get yourself a body spray and a perfume.

10. Learn to say less. The more comfortable you are with silence, the more confident you appear.

My wife said "he treats everything like a transaction"

I said "that's not true"

The therapist asked me to give an example of something I do that isn't transactional

I thought about it for 11 seconds

I could not think of an example

The therapist asked how that made me feel

I said "efficient"

My wife looked at the therapist

The therapist looked at my wife

They had a moment

I was not part of the moment

My wife said "do you love me?"

I said "I chose you. Every day I choose you. That's not emotion. That's a commitment with a compounding return and I don't see a better alternative in the market."

The room went quiet

When I’m angry with someone, I tend to ignore their calls and texts. I can do that for days until I feel they have made enough effort to reach me and try to make things right.

Only after that will I tell you exactly what you did wrong, we talk it out, and I let go.

I do this when I feel you already know what you did wrong and should try on your own to make things right.

There are many people I have stopped talking to without ever telling them what they did wrong. Some will just assume I don’t want to talk to them and move on. I move on too.

I’m working on improving on this because I’ve realized that some people may genuinely not realize they offended you.
