They’re the worst team in the AL and they have a 35 year-old starter having his best season in a decade. The AAA talent pool is pitiful.
Any organization with a brain would know you trade Wacha 10 out of 10 times. But not the Royals!
The Royals are now the only team in baseball with fewer than 36 wins. They have the worst record and the worst run differential (by a full 10 runs) in all of baseball. Dead last, out of 30 teams.
Congratulations to John Sherman, JJ Picollo, and Matt Quatraro. You're number one!
The Kansas City Royals have the worst record in Major League Baseball
The very worst.
How nobody has lost their job yet is a slap in the face to the fanbase.
You can't blame this Royals free fall on injuries and "that's baseball." This is an organizational failure. Lots of AAAA talent, but this is not an MLB caliber ballclub.
Opponents are hitting .320 off of Erceg, he has a WHIP that is almost 2 and he can’t throw strikes. What in the world do they keep throwing this guy for???
The #Royals were 19-21, 0.5 game out of first place on May 10 with a chance to sweep their division rival Tigers on national television. 10 of their next 16 at home.
They are 3-11 since, outscored 74-45.
Think it can't get worse? They start a ten-game road trip on Friday.
I have no words for this performance utterly embarrassing.
John Sherman should refund every fan who bought a ticket and sat through this torture tonight.
