@HMRCcustomers I just clicked 'submit' on my tax return & it took me to a page saying 'Contact HMRC'. There's no indication that my tax return has been submitted. My tax return is no longer visible on the website. Is this a bug?
.@Evernote I want to send a complaint but it appears there is no way to contact you except in public on Facebook or Twitter. Are you sure you want everyone to see my complaint? Let me know how I can contact you. Happy to share with everyone if that's what you want.
This still feels like the cruellest thing to do. Managers can force people into quitting through neglect. It's slow and painful. #bettermanagers - https://t.co/eSRbzIlHSw
"The workforce bears the brunt of failed transformations, and the emotional damage can be substantial..." Yes, & some good things in this article, but frankly, I don't think a poetry session or meditation will do the trick - https://t.co/9sRuDwCrRy
Agree with this article, & it's not just when you're young! Companies too often don't set up their employees for success. 'Training' consists of telling you when you're going wrong, not giving you the info/resources you need to get it right in the first place.
Training and development don't happen passively; they require an intentional approach — especially in a hybrid workplace. From @TheAtlantic:

Leaders who fail to listen ultimately find themselves surrounded by silence.
You don't get chosen to take charge unless you give good answers. You won't be able to make change unless you ask good questions.
Learning depends on making it safe for people to tell you the truth.
"Right now, a lot of wishful thinking is guiding the return from remote working...If leaders don’t accept the fact that they don’t know the shape of the future of hybrid working, their talent will keep walking out the door."
Are fears of the “Great Resignation” overblown? Perhaps—but it’s undeniable that change is afoot as many workers return from remote and reevaluate their employers.
For leaders, this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reimagine how work gets done ➡️ https://t.co/9TkRFWs34P
"If you’re a leader, you can’t sit back and hope your employees will successfully navigate so much turbulence. Hope is a terrible strategy." https://t.co/HMpw2gsxly
"All of the freelancers...experienced paranoia around possible sudden drops in their scores & ongoing frustration over their inability to learn from and improve based on score fluctuations." Yup. https://t.co/kuGTDqHtJF
Some great sense from @agilemelanie on this CIPD podcast. I've been saying for years that we need to acknowledge the time spent on perpetual 'change initiatives' in everyone's workload & include it in job descriptions! https://t.co/lgr00lxbZ0
If you're struggling to recruit people, *make the jobs better*! It's not all about money; it's about how you treat & value people. https://t.co/ZlcYe2ohT4
Dear university administrators: Before you send that next email, please read the "Brevity" memo Winston Churchill sent to his staff in 1940 #frictionproject https://t.co/fxfyWuu3M2. .
