“My passion is to bring perspective, understanding and guidance impacting the lives of those who care about our world and want to make a positive contribution.”
@Joel7Richardson The “circle the wagons” approach that they promote is exactly what dysfunctional families or groups do to hide problems. They are enablers and apart of the problem.
@Joel7Richardson People like Mexaxes and O’Brien seem to be ignorant of the difference between Criticism & Critique. Anyone who wants to be successful in their sector understands that Post-Mortems are mission critical to success and organizational health.
@RonSCantor This is too often the reaction you see in families who have a parent who is an addict. In counseling terms we call it “circling the wagons”. Once you peel off the facade you begin to discover how cowardly most church leaders are. They talk tough hiding behind the pulpit.
@daddyhope Younger generations who weren’t taught history don’t seem to understand that this behavior has gone on for centuries in the bastions of power across every civilization. That doesn’t make it right but it’s not surprising.
@Joel7Richardson@MikeWingerii@KozarSteveMUC To my knowledge social media battles don’t tend to solve problems. For those of us who actually want to see lives impacted and things improved, our best work is done in secret outside the gaze of the public with all their uninformed opinions.
@blaiseforet Bob Dylan sang “Everything is broken” and that has always been the case in the church world despite the marketing and hype. Hopefully the uncovering of all the dysfunction will refocus people on what is important… Jesus!
It typically takes 3 generations to bring significant societal change. We are in at a time in human history where the western educated grandsons of the tribal Arab world have become builders and don’t want future wars that destroys their achievements. Trump speaks their language.
@RonSCantor There has been a very warped worldview for centuries that church leaders get a pass because of their position. It’s a POV that they have indoctrinated their congregations with and reinforced amongst themselves. That is being rightfully challenged these days.
@ofctimallen I had 16 dear friends massacred in Zimbabwe in 1987 on a Peace & Reconciliation project. It was devastating. I came to understand that forgiveness was Gods way of setting me free from a life of anger, resentment and the desire for revenge. It was freeing.
@Miriam2626 It’s actually about free market. What’s driving the decision is economics. ABC is losing money. Kimmel lost his audience. Local stations were losing customers. People vote with their feet.
An amazing woman transitioned this morning and is now reunited with the many beloved family members who went before her. We will miss you Mom. Elaine Marie Kammer Scott (1927-2025)
@RonSCantor I’ve know Rick for over 30 years. The very first time I met him I could sense his deep need to be seen as a prophet and his desperation to move in the more sensational giftings. This has left him vulnerable to compromise in his attempt to gain power. It’s actually rather pathetic
@zhuangcorp@RonSCantor No. In fact I told my colleagues to watch for a reemergence in 24 months. I had suspected that in Oct 2025 we’d see him attempt a comeback. To use a football analogy… Rick Joyner and Lisa are blocking for him. Game on as a defense mounts. They are significantly outnumbered.
@RonSCantor MB faces a conundrum between Divine Justice and Civil Justice. One demands confession and repentance the other demands punishment and restitution. To obey the first opens him up to the consequences of the second and I can guarantee his lawyers have told him to shut up.
@judylthomas Or she’s having some sort of mental or emotional breakdown in a desperate attempt to return to relevance. Anyone half discerning can sense there is something much deeper going on that’s disconcerting. I am actually very concerned about her mental health.
