@_TheAcidSoul I ended up heading towards the middle too, not before I’d been elbowed for swaying into someone and then called ‘unbelievable’ for trying to get past them to where people were actually having fun 😂

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Placebo put on an absolutely phenomenal show tonight in Manchester, just a shame half the audience hadn’t listened to the new album, couldn’t detach from their phones, and couldn’t handle people trying to move to the music 🙄 I just wanted to vibe 😭✨

You would think that after 8 exemption notices and 2 more applications since September @ManCityCouncil would have figured out I’m a single student household, as I’ve repeatedly declared, and not try to threaten me with court while I’m trying to write my PhD thesis🙃

Lunch hilariously ruined, as not a single bean to be found - 3 cans of @sainsburys beans & sausages, all without beans 😬

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Have had an absolutely amazing weekend at @westdidscomfest seeing @TheNewsAtGlenn and @lauralexx. Everyone was hilarious, I can’t believe how lucky I am to have this on my doorstep, we can’t wait for next year 🥰

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Jack actually bought me towels for my birthday so I guess I'm ancient now

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

As if I miss the cut off by a week.

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Pride month was the best time to finally buy this comic with my favourite bi/pan representation 🥰💗💜💙🏳️‍🌈💗💛💙

In a depression, miss out on a talk at a conference that was apparently in the bag, and supervisor casually floats the idea that maybe it would be smart to give up on my current project because it might not get published. Love that for me. Catch me giving up on life ✌️

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

What a perfect time to reintroduce sitting next to people on buses... When we've got a new super transmissible variant and even more idiots have stopped wearing masks 🙃

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Love getting tipsy with my German-speaking colleague after work and having to try to keep up with rapid German on my 100 days of Duolingo and 3 pints 🤪

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Very happy to vote for Andy Burnham after how he stood up for us last year. Nice to vote for someone who's actually earnt it.

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Just walked past a group of undergrads as one of them was saying "omg imagine being 25" 🧓

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

@_SnoopyOnALude I used a search engine like Counselling Directory and looked for one with reputable creds and relevant areas of expertise that was near me, cost £45 an hour, would highly recommend

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Lol sorry but putting Manchester back in tier 3 after having one of the most dramatic decreases of cases in the country, and the lowest regional R, is so brazenly political. Westminster can fuck off.

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Mary Malone was absolutely perfect I am so so excited to see her story, she's exactly how I imagined 😍 #HisDarkMaterials

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Explain to someone who hasn't read the books why we all cried at a bench 🥺🥺🥺💔

[His Dark Materials @darkmaterials]

"I like it here."

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

I am so happy #HisDarkMaterials is back, defo didn't immediately burst into tears seeing Lyra hug Pan 🥺

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Tories are cunts

@NiallHatchell Oxford Road. Bunch of freshers filled the pub, didn't wear masks when wandering around, and were so drunk they couldn't even follow signs to the loos. Ended up playfighting sans masks on the floor <2m from me. Utter cretins.

[Jo Cunningham @jocunninghamx]

Freshers absolutely deserve Covid after how I've seen them behave tonight. Wear a fucking mask ya twats.
