@magnetic1KDS @goodreads I didn't love it. But I think it is so important for someone like me (white) to read books by minority authors about slavery and the civil war. In that vein, I'd recommend two by Colson Whitehead - Underground Railroad and The Nickel Boys. Happy reading and good to hear from you.
