Hello. We are building simple, unforgivingly hard casual games for people trying to avoid eye contact on public transport. We'll be documenting our zero-budget development process and desperate marketing efforts. Welcome.
@John26649305 Thought you meant followers. I have to stop searching tips how to get more of them, I'm losing grip on reality. Also, happy birthday from random twitter stranger.
@BenBusker I'm sorry to hear that, it really is tough out there to have a meaningful relationship with someone. Unfortunately, to quote Chandler, I'm not great at the advice. Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?
@dieworkwear There already is a replacement - AIsculinity-influencer industry showing how many AI subs you run simultaneously and how many tokens you burn daily on slop that never ships.
Today's mandatory daily post is just to remind you the game releases this week. Still, maybe. You play as a bee that fails constantly because of poor decisions. We are keeping things very on brand.
@LeoBuilds_ My secret is typing a reply, rewriting it, making tea, overthinking it until it's painfully obvious how hard I'm trying, and hitting post. Followed by a long recovery period of questioning myself.
@PokeIndie I am trying to beautifully edit footage of me playing our game on the toilet, which is what it was made for. The main reason to care is if you have not much else happening in your life.
Well, there goes the daily commitment, now we're destined to be forgotten before doing anything memorable. To quote another one of our Game Over messages: That was simply careless. We expected slightly better by now. PS: Saw Dylan Moran last night. A legitimate excuse, for once.
@creativemh 😀 our schedule: idea in head - where's my phone - furiously typing - full of typos - starts overthinking - make version I'm happy with - more overthinking, decide to post later - accidentally hit discard instead of save...
@creativemh Well, our bio says not overly ambitious 😀. We are starting with simple ones, mobile one-tap (two taps occasionally) games, ideal for bathroom breaks. Hopefully funny too. Trying to turn all ideas that were gathering dust over the years to real games. Then we move to bigger ones
How's this for strategy: made a game 11 years ago, mild success, then waited for the market to saturate. AI came, so we waited more, ofc, until everyone but coders could make games too. Now we're back. To quote our game-over message: A tragic waste of a perfectly average attempt.
@DavidWehle They have a great sense of humour. In our house it's mostly Ninjago, not even hiding them, just spreading figures evenly across the floor until there is no safe place to step on.
