When my mom was around my age, she lost both of her parents within years of each other, and my brother and I were talking yesterday about how oblivious we probably were to her grief. We are both parents now and we just KNOW that, as her world was shifting like never before, we were probably asking her where our jeans were and what was for supper. 😶🌫️ Sorry, Mom. I know it’s thirty years later, but we are sorry for your loss and would love to help you with the dishes.
If you’re 17 rn just enjoy the fact that you randomly feel like doing your makeup and getting glammed up in your room because one day, one day in the future, you just won’t fucking feel like it 🤣
I knew I was doing too much when I started arguing with his mama 😭😂 She called herself checking me one day talking about, “You need to stop stressing my son out” I said, “Ma’am… your son been stressing me!” 😭 the whole time he sitting there quiet 🤫 Next thing I know, me and his mama going back and forth! I’m explaining how he don’t even take the trash out, and she talking about “well he never had to do that growing up” EXACTLY my point, sis! 😭
That’s when I realized I lost my mind. I’m arguing with a woman who gave birth to the problem. Never again!!! If I have to argue with your family to keep you, you can stay right there with them 😂✌🏽
That lady who said she was teaching her children to not be annoying and to recognize when they are being annoying was absolutely right. a lot of your parents did not teach you when you were being absolutely insufferable or annoying and you need to pick up on that asap.
