@TaylorTwellman@getnickwright There were a ton of confused people on his earlier tweet about it. He’s just adding a little clarification… take it easy.
@AlmightyTobin@Quantay8@pickuphoop@BranDaMan23 I said “let alone one picked as low as as Bronny” Obviously late 2nd round picks would have even lower averages…. Although you can’t even understand what Stephen A was saying, so idk why I thought you would understand me.
@Quantay8@AlmightyTobin@pickuphoop@BranDaMan23 He was the 55th overall pick. The average 2nd rounder averages like 3 points a game if they ever even play, let alone one picked as low as Bronny. He’s been objectively and literally above average for his slot. You guys are acting like they took him in the first or something.
@AlmightyTobin@pickuphoop@BranDaMan23 The point is, Stephen A was implying LeBron was forcing the Lakers to keep or play Bronny, and by saying “I plead as a Father” he was saying that it was also bad for Bronny himself to be there.
This post is just saying that the Lakers made a good choice drafting Bronny.
@DailyBookDrop_@Brannin lol they are saying you can’t trust the decision making of a guy who cheated on a beautiful movie star that he had been with for over 10 years and had a kid with. Not “cheaters should never coach basketball”. Especially with one of your own employees..
@grishamhannah@sheanorling Stat cast numbers are just a math equation. They take the launch angle, exit velo, and wind data. Maybe temp too, and give a projected number based on where it would land if there were no stands in the way. Messes with perception when we see where they actually land.
@sheanorling This is a common perception, and I personally think part of the problem is that broadcasts often put the measurement icon where the ball lands which is often closer than the statcast number, since the stands are in the way. It makes a 430ft HR seem shorter than it is.
@RichieRich46892@getnickwright Ah I guess the NBA just forgot that Miami is a big market and let them get eliminated, despite LaMelo out here trying to injure people.
@RichieRich46892@getnickwright 😂😂😂 so much wrong with this. Not the least of which is Charlotte is BIGGER THAN ORLANDO… which isn’t even the most popular team in its state. The NBA already gave Charlotte a free play-in win by not calling the flagrant in the game against the actual big market Florida team..
@JacubTC@NBA__Courtside That’s the point though. People aren’t saying teams are dumb for shooting so many threes, they are saying it’s not as fun to watch. So the idea is to tweak the rules to make shooting a more balanced number of 3s the new smart play. Same rationale for ⚾️ with the pitch clock.
@0nlyMeez@Knicks97107463@getnickwright Lebron never “jumped teams” or even demanded a trade. He has only ever left in free agency as every player has a right to do since long before LeBron joined the league.
