Senate approved the TOBACCO TAX INCREASE. Once this is signed into law, we can raise the much-needed revenues to fund the Universal Health Care, prevent the increase of new smokers, and avert the deaths due to smoking of tobacco products. Thank you, DOH and DOF for the support!

The Senate version of the sin tax bill will implement a staggered increase starting next year. Current cigarette tax is at P35/pack.

2020 - P45 per pack
2021 - P50
2022 - P55
2023 - P60
