@fesshole We've been doing 'slap a chicken' since the kids were small! They spoiled the fun by putting them in packs with air around them!

@GroundedBlue @fesshole Yep it's the last 2 letters at the end for the town or region, so Y123DBN is Brighton area, Y123KDY hastings...

@NiallHarbison Oh Niall, lost our 12yo lady spaniel to leptospirosis years ago. Mum had no transport so we were 2 wks late getting to vets for her jabs. Neighbour had rats under garden shed & our dog got ill. Awful to see. Vet was amazed how she fought back for 2 months. My heart's with Bear.

Hi David, this is Jo, Joy's daughter in law, she didnt write down your number when u rang with news of mum and it was too long ago to pick it up on history. She would like to keep in touch. Can you text her your number or DM me please? She just would like updates. Ta.

@Morbidful I was flying in and out of Vancouver on one of these 4 days before this. The planes fly in and out all day in a designated area. Many of the boat pilots in their weekend fun craft just ignore the runway buoys & markers. I believe the plane pilot was warned but too late. Sad tho

@sharon_wisner Old days??? Milk & More still do deliver. It was as recent as late 90s it was general to do. We had a local farm in the outskirts of Brighton that milked the cows early am and it was bottled and on doorstep by midday. Increadible milk too. Nice you could see the cows grazing.

@fesshole With you there! Along with 'movies'.....'on the weekend' and my absolute horror word, 'getgo'... what the heck happened to 'from the start'? The tv and radio gets many a dressing down by me. Keeps me sane!

@fesshole I keep our bottles of wine and beer behind one of our kickboards. For one thing the concrete floor is cooler and it's out of the way of prying eyes!

@Teenygozer @fesshole At self scan checkout yes, but scan as you go, you are loading your own bags in your trolley. Not till you finish your shop completely do you go near any kind of platform as you put it, so scanning same one twice for speed is fine and makes sense.
