Btw working on a new open source project to facilitate build progressive web apps with aspnet core and of course integration with cloudscribe https://t.co/3r6FOBvsQR #worksoffline#supportspushnotification#alphaquality
Congrats to new and renewed mvps! #mvpbuzz I didn’t make the cut this year, kind of expected as I haven’t been out speaking. My open source nuget downloads are almost 1.2 million I guess that isn’t what they care about but makes me happy #whativeshared. https://t.co/MXEOJoems3
@cathysull problem remains after updating to 16.1.3, now the error message appears soon as I open the solution, because I left this class file open when I closed the solution, it seems to not like this file. Tried close the file and restart VS, then open file and same error. Back to VS2017
@cathysull VS used to always show an indicator when an update was available but I just closed VS and launched the installer and now updating from 16.1.1 to 16.1.3, not sure why the usual update available indicator was not present.
@cathysull ok, only 5 mins back into trying VS2019, just double clicked a class file to open it and getting a popup saying VS encountered an unrecoverable error with this link for learn more https://t.co/jhENoGOysB
@cathysull Ok, I'll be more proactive on reporting things, but often it is things like notifications telling me something failed and it might be best to restart VS, often intellisense gets out of whack and reports false errors, ie it builds fine but have to restart VS to fix intellisense
@trendoid I installed community version side by side and found it more stable than Enterprise version probably due to less features. But now on some solutions still having issues with background services crashing randomly even using the community version.
