@LanceMcAlister Man, what’s happened to you, Lance. Nobody knew Elly was nursing a leg injury last year and the Reds were better with a compromised Elly than without. He still was contributing to the team. Do ya think Sparky told Pete to grab some pine bc he needs a break?
@AnalyticsSaidSo Whoa whoa whoa! Who started this dumb comparison? Mis has 153 innings under his belt and we’re comparing him to Nolan Ryan?! Why? I suggest comparing Mis to someone like Dwight Gooden or Fernando for now.
@Clay_sno I saw Jorge play a lot in Dayton. He’s an exciting player. Reminds me of Javier Baez in that he tends to swing at everything, but when he connects the ball jumps.
@LanceMcAlister I’m not sure what you mean by unfair. It’s the bigs. Other teams do this all the time. The Reds have actually been very patient with Petty since they acquired him.
@AugieNash I did a study on Boyer with special focus on comparing him to his contemporaries. Boyer was basically the Scott Rolen of his time. He deserves to be in the National Baseball HOF.
@CBoxSports This is totally on ownership. I know some of you think Nick Krall is incompetent, but it’s not him, but rather ownership. I think Krall has done a decent job with what ownership gives him. Look at all the players he’s brought in you’ll find only a few duds. @LanceMcAlister
@tangotiger Hitting a baseball probably is the most difficult single act in sports, but as far as playing, I just can’t get past the fact that those hockey players are on ice!
