@DocStrangelove2 The comment section: The most herka derka countries have oil and lots of refineries. The diesel/ gasoline is subsidized by the government there.
If gasoline were 4 dollars gallon, then it would be good to use in moderation, if they don't have other more expensive cleaners.

@DocStrangelove2 Gasoline is an OK cleaner. Old timers used to use gasoline to clean automotive parts. No such thing as evaporative emissions regulations back then or they did not care.
I knew people using dry cleaning solvent & lighter fluid (Naphtha) to clean guns. Don't have any flames/sparks

I always wanted to buy a 1972 or similar style chevy pick-up truck and a 1950 ford pick-up. My dad had one and my uncle had the other. A always thought those were badass.

@seanmdav It is inflation. My dad died years ago & had nice truck worth $18,000. 4 years after, I sold his truck for $24,000 to the first person.
It is the inflation. Also, 5 year old vehicles are garbage in the rust belt, so they buy used elsewhere. There are also International buyers.
