@business I would also think this will make it worse since oekple can now take money from their 401k and buy many homes with that money. The STR market is already a reason why we have this housing issue.

@business This saying this already exists clearly didn’t read the article. In this new proposal, you wouldn’t pay it back, a portion of your home would be in your 401k as an investment. Borrow 10% to put a down payment on a home, then 10% if your home is an asset in that 401k

@business Take money from one pocket and put it in another. This doesn’t fix the housing issue, it kicks the can down the road which is typical government approach to solving problems. This one will also take one problem and trade it for another.

I cannot be more happy with @monarch_money in the aftermath of @Intuit decommissioning mint. I tried simplifi by my intuit and it was inferior to mint. I understand that the creators of mint created the Monarch app and they have exceeded what mint was!
