@RadioMcLean I’ve lived in Bermuda and the rest of my life in Ottawa. The cold in Ottawa is bitter and bites at your skin but the cold in Bermuda and from what I’ve heard the UK as well, it’s a damp cold that gets in your bones. Similar to the humidity in the summer but in reverse. It’s awful
@JoeRoganRecaps “His father died before he was born”. Does one quick google search and finds out his father was Saddam Hussein who, *checks notes* died in 2006.
@kunwarabhi7 NWO forming in 1996 was a bigger moment than anything DX ever did but it became so saturated and boring after a couple of years. DX had way better longevity. Gotta call it a draw
I know this is random but here are the ways of pronouncing Canadian cities
Toronto
Cho-ronno
If you’re Ontarian, it’s Cher-onno.
Montreal
Mun-tree-all
Mo-Ray- al ( like pal or sal (as close as I can get)
Ottawa
Sand-er-son
Ta-chuck
Stew-Tzla
Stanley cup
Hope this helps
@PolesMustGo Can’t give you proof. Ive worked in a restaurant that used to serve him frequently and he was kind of a dick. And not the only time Ive heard this from people in the industry. So can’t speak for his locker room leadership but if you carry yourself like this in public, gonna judge
@PolesMustGo Karlsson wasn’t a great leader though. Hell of a player but he was pretty self centred. Spezza was great but always seemed too shy to me. I’d rather have Brady as a captain personally. Now all being equal, even though he quiet, give me Sandy as C. Closest thing to Alfie imo
@DirtyDanglesSOS@YoYoNancy11@LGRWkyle@puckempire Erik Karlsson still has a home in Ottawa despite having been traded 8 years ago. Mark Stone still spent his summers in Ottawa years after being traded. Alfredsson still lives in the city. Chris Phillips and Chris Neil live here too. So it’s not unique to STL
@Kotkaniemismole@sensmonster Honestly, as a Sens fan I agree. He’s got all the tools but the finish to jump from a star to a superstar. Reminds me of Spezza. Will flash with some goals and rack up points but is just a step away from being in that upper echelon of talent where he consistently gets 100 points
@ridlygreig71@HabsOwnYou@MikeBartner Wait…am I missing something? Don’t don’t players have the same amount of points? Not sure why Habs are dunking on this take. Like at best it’s a wash?
