Remember when UEFA moved the Champions League final from a Wednesday night to Saturday so kids could go and then loads of kids went and they tear gassed them all
I'm calling for a thorough and detailed Police investigation into the 37b + spending on the failed test/track/trace scheme. Please consider retweeting if you agree.
Earlier today @Knox_Harrington was on @SkySportsNews to react to the lies told by Darmanin and Oudea-Castera about LFC supporters at the 2022 UCL Final.
Watch Now👇
The claims Gérald Darmanin and Amélie Oudéa-Castéra have made about Liverpool fans are utterly untrue. The numbers are physically impossible and I have debunked them here.
They have three key claims which are demonstrably false.
Please read and share.

I notice that the narrative is moving to put part of the blame for what happened on Saturday on the immigrant communities that live around the stadium. Let's get this clear. It was a failure of policing and organisation. Don't be distracted by the racist undertones
@ChampionsLeague My experience at Stade de France on Saturday was the 2nd worst I’ve had at a football match, after Hillsborough. It’s difficult to convey the disdain of French police for the welfare of supporters outside the stadium - LFC fans, Madrid fans and neutrals 1/...
🗣 "First of all they tried to blame Liverpool supporters, and now they're trying to blame fake tickets."
Kaveh Solhekol questions the French Minister's response to the chaos at the Champions League final.
Posting some clips from the BBC this morning for those interested.
"Fans arrived early and they were treated like animals. This was an immense failure of safety management and crowd control. The French state completely failed in its duty of care to anyone who enters is country."
“That so many immediately fall into line with the authorities’ lies on the juvenile and outright pathetic basis of tribal football rivalry is why police forces and governments are able to demean, disrespect, and harm football supporters with such regularity”
Have written about the chaos at the Stade de France.
This a chronology of what happened, but also a look at the politics of policing in France, as well as pathetic football tribalism and the need for UEFA and the French authorities to be held to account.

Let this be said now with absolutely clarity: there is no blame to be put on fans here, none whatsoever. French police have used pepper spray for no reason - and I know this because I’ve felt the effects with some colleagues. How these people are being treated is a disgrace
