Gardaí are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating Cian Mooney (16), who is reported missing from Drogheda, Co. Louth, since Sunday 24th May 2026.

Cian was last seen at approximately 2:15pm.

Cian is described as being approximately 5 foot 7 inches in height, with a slim build, black hair and green eyes.

When last seen, Cian was wearing a black tracksuit, a black jacket, a black peaked cap and dark runners.

It is believed that Cian may have travelled to the Crumlin area of Dublin.

Cian is also known to frequent the Tallaght area.

Gardaí and Cian’s family are concerned for his wellbeing.
