@50046Gary @DawgsGolfSpurs @TGonthebike @RichPenners Anyone using a car, motorcycle, van or HGV etc has to tax it to us it on a public road. The tax is based on different parameters depending on the vehicle type, emissions is just one of these and is not the reason cyclist don't pay vehicle tax.

But it's not an excuse, blind spots are a hazard that need to be taken account of.

@OneHomeCounties @Shugcsf @Bishop0151 Not the point. You said "they literally can't" pay. Now it's a tenner. A million vehicles are currently registered but pay £0. That seems to be worth the admin, so a tenner is a bonus.
