Yesterday YSW supported us to conduct a community outreach in Kapenguria town.
With MOH we provided cervical cancer screening, HIV testing and counselling and distribution of condoms.

Under BLOOM project, YSW is training 30 Community Peer Educators CPEs who will conduct mentorship sessions in schools within West Pokot sub-county. At the end of the 5 days CPEs will be equipped fully for mentorship.

Wrapping up a vital conversation on Child Rights. We moved beyond theory to discuss practical ways to safeguard children against neglect and abuse within our communities. The commitment shown by the West Pokot CPEs today was truly inspiring.

Day 3 of training just concluded. Our discussions today have been on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and drugs and substance abuse. The community Peer Educators (CPEs) have been equipped well.
